This policy explains what personal data we process when you use supertechno.com, why we do so, how long we keep it and what rights you have. We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Czech Personal Data Processing Act No. 110/2019 Coll.
Who is the data controller?
TECHNOCRANE s.r.o., Company Registration No. 26353458, Podnikatelská 1131/19, 301 00 Plzeň – Skvrňany, Czech Republic, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Regional Court in Plzeň, section C, file 14852.
E-mail: info@supertechno.com, phone: +420 377 889 111.
What data do we process, and why?
- Contact form, “Write message” and “Request a quote”: your name, e-mail address, phone number (optional), company (optional), your message and the product you ask about. We use them only to answer your enquiry and to prepare a quote. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for general enquiries, your consent given by ticking the consent box (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Academy training day request: the same data plus the crane or subject you are interested in and your preferred dates, used to plan the training day with you. Legal basis as above.
- Technical data and security: your IP address, browser information and the date and time of your visit are recorded in the server logs of our hosting provider. When you send a form, we also keep a short record that a form was sent, with an abbreviated, non-reversible code derived from your IP address (not the content of your message), and short-lived counters that limit the number of messages from one connection. Purpose: operating and securing the website and protecting it against spam. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile): when you send a form, a check by Cloudflare, Inc. confirms that a person and not a program is sending it. Cloudflare receives your IP address and browser information for this check. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the website against abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). More in the Cloudflare privacy policy.
- Settings stored in your browser: your cookie choice and your light/dark display preference. They stay on your device and are not sent to us.
Cookies and third-party content
The website works without cookies. We do not use analytics, advertising or marketing cookies, or social media tracking pixels.
- Google Maps (rental map, contact page, partner cards, Academy page) is loaded only after you accept it in the cookie banner or click “Load map”. Google then receives your IP address and may set cookies. See Google’s privacy policy. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer.
- Your location (Rental page): your browser may ask whether the page may use your location in order to sort the rental partners by distance. If you agree, the position is used only in your browser for this sorting. It is not sent to us or stored.
- Videos (YouTube, Vimeo) are loaded only when you click play. Until then, only a preview image is shown, which is loaded from the video platform’s servers and therefore transmits your IP address to them.
Who receives your data?
Your message is read by our employees who handle the request. In addition, we use these service providers (processors): our web hosting and e-mail sending provider Active24 (Websupport), and Microsoft (Microsoft 365) for our company e-mail. Google and the video platforms receive the technical data described above when their content is loaded. We do not sell your data or provide it to other third parties. Some providers may transfer data outside the European Union; this takes place under the safeguards they apply, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
How long do we keep your data?
Enquiries and quotes are kept in our mailboxes for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, and afterwards for as long as the law requires (for example accounting and tax rules); otherwise they are deleted. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a limited period only. The spam-protection counters are kept for 24 hours.
What are your rights?
- to request information about the personal data we process about you and access to it,
- to have inaccurate data corrected and incomplete data completed,
- to request erasure of your data or restriction of its processing,
- to receive your data in a portable format,
- to object to processing based on our legitimate interest,
- to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
To exercise your rights, write to info@supertechno.com. You can also file a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, www.uoou.cz.
How is your data protected?
The website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to messages is limited to the employees who need them, and the forms are protected against automated abuse.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website or the law changes. The current version is always published on this page.
